I'm thrilled to feature these artworks, as they mark my first-art-exhibit experience, which paved the way for my journey in the art world. I vividly remember the pride I felt when I saw these drawings featured on the regional news coverage of the "Baguio Art & Architecture Exhibit 2014". That sense of pride ignited a deeper passion within me, motivating me to draw even more, and I’ve continued to pursue my artistic dreams ever since."
Fun facts: This drawing of Architect Daniel Burnham started as a traced piece, which I then rendered with charcoal pencil. The painting of Mines View Park is made using coffee as a medium. These pieces were created under tight deadlines, as I was determined to be part of the exhibit. The frame matting was a DIY effort using a cutout cartolina, which was the only paper I had on hand at the time. I even had to ship them since I was in the province at the time. I'm glad I put in the effort to participate, as this marked the beginning of my artistic journey."
